Hace poco leí un artículo de la Universidad de Pensilvania (www.authentichappiness.com) donde hablaba de tres ejercicios de psicología que probaron aumentar los niveles de felicidad. Decía que daba resultado después de sólo una semana.
Los probé. Me llevó un tiempo. Como todo, es un proceso. Nada es mágico ni fácil; ni ocurre de un día para el otro. Debo confesar que algunas prácticas me generaron un poco de resistencia y me costaron. Y que no todas se convirtieron en prácticas diarias.
Pero siento que vale la pena (al menos) intentar los tres ejercicios y observar cómo afectan nuestras formas de pensar, y en última instancia, nuestras acciones.
TRES BENDICIONES
1. Antes de ir a la cama, escribí tres cosas buenas que te hayan pasado ese día. Yo aprendí a dejar mi cuadernito en la mesita de luz, lo hace más fácil y da menos fiaca.
2. Luego, escribí por qué pasaron cada una de esas cosas.
3. Pensá en los impactos que esos eventos positivos tuvieron en tu día. ¿Cómo hubiera sido tu día si no hubieran pasado?
4. Identificá tres estrategias para seguir viviendo en un estado de agradecimiento, con más positivismo y crecimiento.
5. Escribí cada vez que algo bueno te pase o cuando hagas algo para revertir una mala situación (y transformarla en algo bueno).
Pueden ser cosas mini, cosas chiquitas que parecen que no tienen importancia. Todo tiene importancia. A veces lo más simple es lo más grande.
VISITA DE GRATITUD
1. Pensá en alguien que haya hecho algo importante por vos y que nunca le agradeciste como se debe.
2. En una carta, escribí lo que esa persona hizo exactamente y el efecto que tuvo en tu vida. Tratá de ser lo más específicx posible.
3. Escribí y reescribí la carta varias veces. Que sea poderosa y concisa.
4. Escribila a mano
5. Encontrate con esa persona cara a cara, y léele tu carta.
USÁ TUS FORTALEZAS EN NUEVAS FORMAS
1. Revisá la lista de las fortalezas a continuación
HUMOR, VALENTÍA, PERSISTENCIA, AMABILIDAD, MENTE ABIERTA, PERDON & MISERICORDIA, APRECIACIÓN DE LA BELLEZA, GRATITUD, AMOR POR APRENDER, CURIOSIDAD, PRUDENCIA, INTELIGENCIA SOCIAL, PERSPECTIVA, LIDERAZGO, HUMILDAD Y MODESTIA, VITALIDAD, ESPERANZA, AUTO-REGULACIÓN, IGUALDAD, INTEGRIDAD, CREATIVIDAD, ESPIRITUALIDAD, AMOR.
2. Pensá en las maneras en que usas(te) tus fortalezas.
3. Pensá en las maneras en que podés usarlas aún más y escribí acciones a tomar.
4. Comprometete a usar tus fortalezas de nuevas formas durante esta semana.
5. Podés también anotarlo en un cuaderno cada vez que lo hagas.
